DESCRIPTION:Women Empowering Women is a monthly luncheon where powerhouse females and supporters of women meet to connect\, learn\, and ignite bold conversations. We are proud to welcome September's featured speaker\, Sophie Sargent! Sophie Sargent is a New Hampshire-based media personality\, host\, reporter\, and Lyme disease advocate. She has worked across radio\, television\, sports\, and wellness media\, including reporting with NESN\, Dirty Water Media\, New England Football Journal\, and Biohack Yourself Media. A graduate of the University of New Hampshire with a degree in Homeland Security\, Sophie has built a career rooted in storytelling\, resilience\, and connection. After being diagnosed with Lyme disease\, Babesia\, and Bartonella\, she turned her personal health journey into a platform for advocacy\, using her voice to raise awareness for invisible illness and help others feel seen. Sophie is Miss New Hampshire Volunteer 2026 and represented New Hampshire at Miss Volunteer America\, where she earned the Non-Finalist Interview Award. Through her service initiative\, she advocates for Lyme disease awareness\, prevention\, and education while supporting organizations such as St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and the Salvation Army.
