Do you need volunteers? As a nonprofit, that question is rhetorical! Join us on January 7th to learn about Project Happy, a technology platform focused on connecting high school students in NH with local volunteering opportunities. Project Happy helps develop a service mindset, improve mental well-being, and create opportunities for extended learning. The focus is on building out vibrant student volunteering hubs in Southern NH (Manchester/Derry) and the Lakes Region (Meredith/Moultonborough/

Laconia.

Over 40 nonprofits have already fully engaged with Project Happy, since their nonprofit channel development efforts started in October, and they have collectively posted over 175 unique, teen-appropriate volunteering opportunities, with more being added each week. 

As a result of various conversations and ongoing communications with different classes and clubs at the Derryfield and Pinkerton schools in the last 8 weeks, 73 students have fully registered on Project Happy and students within that population have signed up for 33 different events and applications. These numbers show great promise in a very short amount of time and the type of engagement that is possible as we increase the number of students on the app.
