Heaven’s Kitchen, a mobile food program of St. Anne’s Parish Charitable Outreach, has quickly become a beacon of compassion in the Greater Derry–Londonderry region. Since launching its food truck in July 2024, the organization has delivered more than 3,000 pounds of nutritious meals and healthy snack boxes to children, seniors, and families in need. From late May through August, Heaven’s Kitchen operates its summer meal program, providing healthy options for children and families. As the seasons change, their fall and winter program continues the mission, delivering fresh, wholesome meals from October through April. Through this year-round commitment, Heaven’s Kitchen has created a consistent, life-changing impact across the community. More than just providing food, Heaven’s Kitchen is building community, restoring hope, and nourishing futures. Its passionate volunteers and dedicated leadership—under the guidance of Director Jim Carey— have forged deep collaborations with local agencies, schools, faith-based organizations, and community partners to tackle food insecurity at its roots. Their delivery service brings meals directly to underserved neighborhoods, breaking down transportation barriers and expanding access to fresh, nourishing food.
