2025 Women Empowering Women Roundtable - Dec

Rebecca Sanborn, JD (she/her) is a proud life-long resident of Derry, with deep roots in the Greater Derry Community. She is the founder and president of Sanborn Diversity Solutions, which helps organizations become more welcoming, equitable, and inclusive for the LGBTQ+ folks that they employ and serve.  Prior to launching Sanborn Diversity Solutions, she practiced law for 17 years. In March of 2023, in collaboration with the Greater Derry Londonderry Chamber, Rebecca founded the Women Empowering Women Roundtable and has facilitated the monthly Roundtable for the nearly two years since then. This month (December 2025) will mark Rebecca’s last month of leadership with the Roundtable, as she steps away to pursue yet another career pivot! In 2026 Rebecca will begin the journey toward ordination as a Deacon in the United Methodist Church, a full-time role which will allow her to pursue social justice ministry and serve as a “bridge” between church and community. Rebecca is deeply grateful for the friends and colleagues she made, and the lessons learned through her work with the Women Empowering Women Roundtable, and looks forward to coming back to visit every now and then!
