Attention shoppers! Second annual Hampstead Town-wide Yard Sale is on Saturday, October 7th 9AM till 2PM . 71 sites signed up to sell all over town along with a community site at the Hampstead Central School.
New this year - Maps will be on sale Friday the 6th at the following locations: Depot Crossing (Citgo 4-corners), Hampstead Health & Fitness, Hampstead Center Market, People's United Bank and Treasures Hallmark. Maps will be sold the day of the event at the following locations: Hampstead Central School, Depot Crossing and Hampstead Health & Fitness. This year's map will print a QR CODE leading the participant to an online interactive navigation system.
Don’t want to host a yard sale but have items you would like get rid of ? Savers in Plaistow will be hosting a supplemental collection drive for all Hampstead and East Hampstead Residents. The donation drive runs on October 7th and 8th. 20 cents will be given to Caregivers for each pound of soft goods and 5 cents per pound for hard goods.
All proceeds will benefit Community Caregivers of Greater Derry. The charity has been engaging town residents since 1988. The organization's mission is to enrich lives and support individuals to remain independent through a compassionate volunteer community. All services to residents are free of charge and include transportation, light chores, shopping, friendly visiting and home repair. Caregivers also operates the free Loaner’s Closet for Durable Medical Equipment.
