Join us to celebrate 100 years since the birth of pilot, astronaut and Derry native, Adm. Alan B. Shepard, Jr., as we unveil the new "Alan B. Shepard" display at the Derry Museum of History.
There will be a ribbon cutting, guided tours of new museum displays by the Derry Junior Historians, special broadcasts of the Alan Shepard interview, home movies running throughout the day, plus refreshments.
Come learn about one of Derry's most famous residents and his contribution to the aerospace industry.
