Description
Community Caregivers of Greater Derry, a nonprofit volunteer caregiving group providing free in-home and transportation services to the elderly and disabled, is hosting an event to benefit the public at large. On Wednesday, April 15th at 7PM, Birch Heights Holiday Retirement Living at 7 Kendall Pond Road in Derry, will host an informational session facilitated by Community House Calls. The topic is ?Sandwich Generation ? caught between a rock and a hard place,? a discussion about dealing with aging parents and young adults. Practical hints on balancing your responsibilities and keeping your sanity will be discussed. Information and tours will be given by the three participating organizations and there will be a door prize for one lucky attendee, and refreshments will be served.
