Proceeds from this event will  support our efforts in creating a Dementia-Friendly Hospital  at The Elliot. All patients with dementia deserve care that respects them as individuals and a care plan that meets their individual needs. Elliot Hospital is working toward becoming a dementia-friendly organization by researching best practices in the care to persons with dementia to provide optimal care in the acute care setting for the patient and caregiver and cost-effectiveness of that care.
