About Us
Mike Massiglia, aka "Messy Mike", has been grilling his entire life. Early on he thought BBQ was Hamburgers, Hot Dogs, and Steak. It wasn't until 2013 after tying the knot with his wife, Katie, that he ventured to find his first smoker, a massive Meadow Creek TS250 Trailer Smoker with a BBQ42 Rotisserie Grill. Armed with his awesome smoker, his wife Katie, and plenty of meat, Mike has served 1000's of lbs of delicious barbecue. In 2016, Messy Mike's Barbecue & Catering moved to Derry NH. Traveling to Texas, Kansas City, Nashville and Jacksonville learning the craft from the best in the business, Mike realized It's more than a grill. Authentic BBQ requires smoking food low and slow; using only lump and hardwood - but it's bigger than that; It's a family and a brotherhood.
